Arkansas Children's Hospital Courtesy of University of Arkansas for Medical SciencesThe PICU team includes 9 critical care intensivists, fellows, residents, nurse practioners, nursing and respiratory staff, nursing educators, a research nurse, nursing directors and manager, patient care technicians, unit secretaries, a family support assistant and child life specialist all working together with the family to provide the highest level of care to each child.

Special murals, commissioned art work, and theme-based decor epitomize a unit that is built for the spirit of the child, while caring for the body and mind during seasons of critical illness.
