The only freestanding hospital in Michigan dedicated exclusively to caring for children, Children's Hospital of Michigan has been devoted to children's health care since its founding in 1886.

Children's is specifically designed to cater to pediatric patients, from its kid-friendly emergency room that treats more than 60,000 children each year, to its newly remodeled patient rooms that have areas for parents to rest comfortably in with their child.
